Understanding Power Project Financing is the second book in a series developed in coordination with the U.S. Department of Commerce`s Trade Law Development Program (CLDP) and the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) of the African Development Bank, has reconstively assembled a group of world-class experts to find the second manual in the Power Africas “Understanding” series. CLDP, in collaboration with the ALSF, convened a world-class expert group to update and update the manual entitled “Understanding Power Purchase Agreements” five years after its initial publication. The updated handbook, funded by Power Africa, contains additional information and case studies on negotiating power capture contracts for small and large projects, as well as new guidelines on emerging issues in African power markets, such as commercial and industrial power purchase agreements and cross-border agreements.
